For those of you who are observant, you will notice that my blog has had a little revamp! I decided that I wanted something a little more sophisticated and different from before as my blog has kind of moved from more of a personal diary, to something to share across social media platforms,
I am so glad that I decided to share this further than my own privacy. I initially felt quite apprehensive about opening up and being quite transparent with my life, but I am so glad that I did. It has allowed me to meet people in similar situations to myself. I have made close bonds with these people and they are now considered my close friends. I wouldn’t be coping half as well in lockdown without them!
It has also opened doors to lots of other opportunities including writing for some more prestigious blogs (coming soon). I am so grateful for the new opportunities being sent my way and keeping me busy during an otherwise boring time😅
When revamping my blog, I discovered I have 1.5k subscribers, and considering I thought I had only 12, this definitely came as a shock! Thank you to everyone who reads my content regularly, you’re the real stars!
I plan on continuing regular blog posts during lockdown and will definitely be carrying on after it’s lifted. I am hoping to start bringing some different types of ideas moving forward and if anyone has any suggestions then I am more than happy to consider these..
I love writing and that’s the main reason that I began blogging in the first place. I mostly enjoy writing non-fiction but I sometimes enjoy creating children’s fiction stories. I am also quite a passionate poet and have loved writing and performing poetry since KS2.
That brings me on to an exciting announcement of a little project I’ve been working on over the last few days. It will be released at 10:00 tomorrow morning! Like I say, it is very different from anything before and I am apprehensive but also excited!
Having just watched the riveting speech from Boris Johnson, I hope that I can rely on you all to make sensible choices and remember that this certainly isn’t the end- not even close!
Stay safe and see you all tomorrow at 10am1
